The Directorate leads the technical processes for the development of policies, plans, programmes, strategic and operational planning and formulation, standard setting, performance management frameworks, information management and use of information for evidence-based decision making, research and development, partnership arrangement, resource mobilization and financing, and coordination and communication with key stakeholders and citizens. It caters for the design and application of monitoring and evaluation systems for purposes of assessing the operational effectiveness of the Ministry’s strategies and interventions.
