The Directorate is responsible for Leading the coordination and planning process of communicable and non-communicable diseases, including TB, HIV, Malaria, neglected tropical disease, mental health, Eye health, Emergency and surveillance, WASH and community health programs as well as health promotion activities in the country,

⦁ Mapping of the availability of the related programs in the health facilities, hospitals and communities,
⦁ Evaluate and Monitor the quality of related service provision in the country,
⦁ Implement recommendations and lessons learned related to the PH programs.
