The Ministry of Health\u00a0 And Human Services of the Federal Government of Somalia has successfully completed a two-day national HIS workshop. The workshop was attended by all Federal Member States, the Federal Ministry of Health, health sector partners and the private sector.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
The Ministry of Health and Human Services has been working on the development of a comprehensive health information strategy and the objective of the workshop was to discuss the findings of the HIS assessment that was conducted in the field by the Ministry.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
Improving the health information system of the country is a priority for the Ministry of health. Building the capacity of the national health information system will allow the use of evidence for policy-making.<\/div>\n
