The meeting was attended by the chief of the WHO office in Somalia, Md Mamnoor Rahman Malik, and other health professionals. The meeting was also attended by specialists evaluating the accomplishments of the Primary Health Service in Somalia in accordance with international standards (UHC).<\/p>\n<p>The team met with the Ministry&#8217;s senior officials for many hours to see the health operations of the Ministry of Health. WHO has issued a report to the Heads of the Ministry of Health of the Federal Government of Somalia on the World Health Organization&#8217;s strategy in Somalia, the completion of their projects in Somalia, and their involvement in the growth of the country&#8217;s health sector.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Haji Adam, extended a warm welcome to the delegation and emphasized the substantial collaboration between the WHO and the Ministry of Health and Human Services of the Federal Government of Somalia, which is essential to its efficient operation. The minister also discussed the country&#8217;s state, noting that Somalia is experiencing its worst drought since 2011, which has impacted humanitarian and health circumstances in many regions of the
