The Minister was warmly welcomed at the Kismayo airport by officials led by Jubaland’s Minister of Health, Mohamed Abdi Oogle, and Dr Mamunur Rahman Maliki, Head of the World Health Organization (WHO) in Somalia. The Minister has released the General Laboratory of Jubaland and a Factory for the production of Oxygen, which is in great demand in Jubaland’s areas. The Minister stated that this is one of the development measures taken.
While speaking, the minister praised the Jubaland administration for its efforts to develop the Juba areas.
He stated that as a ministry, he is committed to the development of a broad range of cooperation in the Jubaland Ministry of Health, which provides an important service and serves as the Jubaland community’s backbone. The minister also inspected Kismayo city’s health centres, which care for Somali citizens who are ill in various ways in Kismayo District Hospitals, and he praised the Jubaland Health Society.
