The Ministry of Health and Human Services recognizes the organizations and people that promote mental health efforts in Somalia and values their work.
We especially urge Somali volunteers to assist and support those suffering from mental illness, like Dr Abdirahman Ali (Habeeb), who is now sick. For whom the Ministry today helped with the documentation for an international medical trip.
The Habeeb Mental Health Foundation has long been under Dr Habeeb’s direction. Additionally, we appreciate the leadership of the Lancereeti Hospital’s Psychiatric Center.
